Once the child starts to have a few teeth you can start using the kid toothbrush &
toothpaste. Toothpaste should be non-fluoridated as children usually tend to eat the
toothpaste or try to swallow it while brushing and too much fluoride can cause teeth to
stain.
For children of age 3 years or below should use toothpaste about a size of rice grain. For children of 3-6 years should use toothpaste about a size of PEA.
Gently rub the gums with damp muslin cloth (ice cold water)
Apply back side of cold spoon.
Teething toys are also available which can be refrigerated before use.
