IS IT ADVISABLE TO GET ALL WISDOM TEETH EXTRACTED?

Not at all, as long as it is not causing any pain or decay it can be left alone. It is advisable to
remove if patient encounters repeated problems.

IS WISDOM TOOTH EXTRACTION PAINFUL?

No tooth removal is painful including wisdom tooth. The tooth is anesthetised before the
procedure and post extraction pain will be alleviated with adequate pain killers.

WHAT ARE THE DO’S AND DONT’S BEFORE AND AFTER THE PROCEDURE?

BEFORE THE PROCEDURE:
History of any medical/surgical illnesses and any usage of medication has to be revealed to
your dentist. Fasting status is not required before the procedure.
AFTER THE PROCEDURE:
Advised to take medications as per prescription. Start rinsing mouth with Luke warm saline
water after 24hrs of procedure for 5-6 times in a day. Stay away from alcohol and smoke for
3-4 days post procedure.
